My Story & Teaching Philosophy

As a lifelong language learner, I know the frustrations and joys of mastering a new language. My own experience fuels my passion to make French accessible, enjoyable, and practical.

Since 2012, I’ve worked with learners of all ages and needs — from school-aged children to adults studying for immigration and academic goals. My teaching is grounded in empathy, flexibility, and real-world communication.

I design my lessons with accessibility in mind: clear instructions, visual aids, and audio for all levels — so everyone can learn at their own pace, no matter where they start.

I take time to understand each learner's goals. Whether you're preparing for an exam, moving to a French-speaking country, or learning for fun: I'm here to support your journey.

My Mission

At MaZa French, my mission is to help learners gain confidence and fluency in French — whether they’re starting from scratch, preparing for the TEF or DELF exams, or looking to improve real-life communication.

I offer personalized French instruction for all levels (A1 to B2), designed to build accuracy, confidence, and practical language skills — with clarity, flexibility, and care.

My courses are currently online, but I’m preparing to launch live French classes in New Westminster, with future sessions planned in the lower Mainland (Vancouver, Surrey,...).
